  1. Independent Business Arrangement

The Freelancer operates their own independent business from Jet Salon Collective.

The Freelancer is not an employee, contractor, agent, partner or representative of Jet Salon Collective. The Freelancer is responsible for their own clients, pricing, bookings, payments, tax, insurance, products, tools and business obligations.

Jet Salon Collective provides access to salon space, selected facilities and agreed inclusions only.

  1. Services Provided by the Freelancer

The Freelancer may provide professional freelance services such as hairdressing, colour work, blow waves, styling, extensions, bridal hair, makeup or other similar services connected with their own business.

The Freelancer is responsible for ensuring that all services they provide are lawful, safe, professional, insured and suitable for being performed in a shared salon environment.

The Freelancer must not provide services that are illegal, unsafe, uninsured, unlicensed where a licence is required, or likely to create risk to clients, other workers, the premises or Jet Salon Collective’s reputation.

Jet Salon Collective also offers in-house nail and beauty services through its own salon staff, nail technicians and beauticians. Freelancers are welcome to promote these in-house services to their own clients as an added benefit of working from Jet Salon Collective.

Where a Freelancer promotes Jet Salon Collective’s nail or beauty services, they must ensure that all information provided is accurate and up to date, including pricing, availability, booking requirements and service details.

Freelancers must not represent that they personally provide Jet Salon Collective’s in-house nail or beauty services unless separately authorised. All nail and beauty bookings, payments, service delivery, complaints and client management remain the responsibility of Jet Salon Collective and its in-house nail and beauty team.

Clients who book Jet Salon Collective’s in-house nail or beauty services remain clients of Jet Salon Collective for those nail or beauty services.

The Freelancer is responsible for any damage caused by them, their clients, guests, assistants or products.

Jet Salon Collective is not responsible for lost income, cancelled clients, damaged tools, stolen belongings, service complaints or disputes between the Freelancer and their clients.

The Freelancer agrees to cover Jet Salon Collective for any loss, claim, damage or cost caused by the Freelancer’s services, conduct, negligence, products, clients or breach of these terms.

  1. Marketing and Branding

The Freelancer may promote that they work from Jet Salon Collective, provided the wording is accurate and professional.

The Freelancer may also promote Jet Salon Collective’s in-house nail and beauty services to their own clients, provided the information is accurate and does not suggest the Freelancer personally provides those services.

  1. Changes to These Terms

Jet Salon Collective may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Continued use of the salon after updated terms are provided means the Freelancer accepts the updated terms.

Any special arrangement must be agreed in writing.

  1. Acceptance

By booking, paying for or using a chair, station, basin, room, workspace, equipment or facility at Jet Salon Collective, the Freelancer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
